How I got here
I'm Taylor Lyle, a naturopathic doctor focused on pediatric care. I earned a B.S. in biomedical and pre-health sciences at the University of Northern Colorado, then my doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Sonoran University of Health Sciences, formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
I specialize in finding the root cause of a child's pain or illness, in preventive care, and in individualized treatment using botanical medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle changes that fit a real family. I see children from birth through 18, and while my focus is kids, I see the whole family as part of a child's care.
I have been in practice since 2023 and moved home to Colorado in December 2025. My practice is based in Erie. I make house calls across the north metro and see Colorado families by video.
My mission
My mission as a naturopathic doctor is to be a parent's resource and teacher, a child's guide and example, and a family's provider who always sees the whole patient. I am committed to compassionately listening to and empowering each patient to choose and embrace their own health and the health of their children and the entire family.

- Time. A first visit is about 90 minutes. I want the whole story, not the headline.
- Root cause over symptom. Quieting a symptom is sometimes necessary. It is never the whole plan.
- Alongside your pediatrician. I work with the care your child already has, and I say so when something needs a specialist or a prescription. That matters most for families of children with developmental concerns, who usually have a whole team.
- At your house. I make house calls across the north metro and see families by video, because children are different at home and parents have enough to carry.
- Honest about what I don't do. No cures promised, no supplement stacks, no restrictive diets without a reason.

What is naturopathic medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a whole-person approach that emphasizes the body's ability to heal itself and focuses on the root causes of illness rather than only the symptoms. Naturopathic doctors train in accredited four-year medical programs and are guided by six principles: the healing power of nature, identify and treat the cause, first do no harm, doctor as teacher, treat the whole person, and prevention. The family behind the practice
I'm a mom of two boys, five and two, and I married my high school sweetheart. There is a Siberian Husky in the house too. When I'm not working, we're camping, up in the mountains, water skiing, lake surfing, mountain biking or playing pickleball, and I drink far too much tea and coffee.
Being a mom changed everything about the way I practice. I became a "why" mom: Why are we doing this? Are there other options? Can we talk through this? I wanted someone to listen to me and care about my kids beyond a five-minute visit, and that is the doctor I try to be for your family.
My first son put us through the ringer. I honestly think I'm a better mom and a better doctor because of what we went through together. It gave me a completely different view of what it feels like to be the parent on the other side of the exam room.
Beyond the exam room
- North Denver Birth Expo. I co-founded and co-hosted the first North Denver Birth Expo on August 8, 2026, and we're making it an annual event.
- 2026 CoAND Annual Conference and Retreat. On November 13 and 14, 2026 I'm presenting on tethered oral ties (TOTs) at the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Doctors' annual conference.
